The desire to master acting, stems from a passion for it, an obsessiveness, from a longing to give your all, to be truly dedicated, to go further and give something extra. This however, will not be shared by many of those who you meet along the way. Most just go through the motions and hold the deadening view that their work is little more than just another line on the CV. You will not be able to feed off them, and you must not let them deflate your passion or erect imaginary barriers.
You will meet a precious few though, who do share your passion and dedication. They will inspire you and warm you and sometimes nourish you. Cherish them.
Most of the time however, you must look within yourself for renewal and motivation and guidance, because it is there that the flame flickers gently.
