The Great Acting Blog: “Honesty Creates Progress”

Without honest examination and reflection on ourselves and on our work, there can be no change, no growth, no improvement, no progression. Why? Because without that honesty we can never know what needs to be worked on, what needs to be discarded and what needs to be kept. The opposite is to bury our heads in the sand and make excuses, then blame others or blame circumstance when we don’t achieve all that we need to – we become entrenched in the status quo.

Honest examination of ourselves and our work leads to change and progression.
