Experimental Film Society And Kolumbija Funding New Feature Film
I recently backed Minotaur on Indiegogo – the experimental, debut feature film by Bosnian filmmaker, Zulfikar Filandra. Rouzbeh Rashidi is co-producing. They are raising funds to complete post-production on the film.
Minotaur sounds like a wonderful project, which Filandra describes as; “a collage, an essay film composed of all the short films I made in my first decade of filmmaking intercut with the films I didn’t manage to get made until now, my home movie footage shot with various cameras, my iPhone clips, my Instagram stories, – in one word: my personal video archive that I’ve been building up since I was 19“.
Filandra continues; “Minotaur will appeal to fans of Jonas Mekas, Chris Marker, Chantal Ackerman, Jean Claude Rousseau – and most of all, my two personal favourite filmmakers: Jean-Luc Godard and Rouzbeh Rashidi. It is for fans of Joyce and Proust. And definitely for fans of psychoanalysis.”
Their campaign has got off to flyer so far, and there are some wonderful rewards on offer. Help make it happen for Minotaur – check-out the campaign here.
